€50 | A

In 1991 Alessi undertook a project to reproduce, and re-interpret, some of Dr Christopher Dresser's most iconic designs. They also endeavoured to (alongside English silversmith Brian Asquith) make items that had, at the time of design, not been possible.

The book gives accounts (in both English and Italian) from Alberto  Alessi, Brian Asquith, and Widar Halen on what Dresser meant to them as designers. It also serves as an excellent and exquisitely presented introduction into the design of Christopher Dresser.
